What format of photos (such as .jpg, .tiff etc.) can be submitted? How is the photo resolution?
Photos Format, We accept
- .jpg (preferred) / .tiff / .png
- Recommended 300dpi or above
- Size of each photo > 1M
- If A3 or above, over 3M is preferred
What is the production lead time?
Normal production lead time is 5-7 working days (Mon-Sat). For any special requirement, such as post value-added effects added or hot season such as Christmas, additional 2-3 working days are required. $50 surcharge for each book is needed for any urgent orders of which photobook can be picked up or delivered after 1 working day. For any other products, schedule and surcharge for urgent order to be quoted.
What can I do if I found defects or damages on my ordered items?
arsPHOTO only accepts replacement. Every request for replacement must be made within 7 days. After careful examination, if products from arsPHOTO are found substandard or flawed, replacement of a brand-new product will be arranged as soon as possible. Original products are required to be returned to us.

Why there are colour variations on my screen and the actual product?
The colour difference is due to the dissimilar compositions and resolution of our screen. Meanwhile, colours may also vary if photos are printed on different paper types. Therefore, we always remind our customers not to solely rely on the screen display as the appearance of actual products. What that said, we promise to export 100% of your original files as final products.
I do not have any knowledge on design, can I order your product?

Our software supports preview function for users before printing. In case of any designing work from our designers, they will also email you their work for your review and approval.

What type of printing machine arsPHOTO used?
All photobooks and digital products are printed by HP Indigo Press 5500 digital laser printer and CANON iPF8300 digital inkjet printer.

Any circumstances make me failed to claim for return?
If products under request for replacement is found artificially damaged or due to wrong files uploaded by customers, arsPHOTO will not make any compensation.

What is the minimum & maximum page I could order for my photobook?
The minimum and maximum pages are respectively 28 and 60. If less than 28 pages is wanted, the photobook will still be priced at 28 pages.
What are the paper type and thickness for the standard photobook?
Specifications of our standard photobook are as follows:

What is the binding method of photobook?
Every photobook is bound manually. Saddle-stich binding and Perfect binding are applied to extend durability.

Yes.
If customers are interested in any pre-designed background from Book Ideas - Template Preview, arsPHOTO will be glad to provide our design. Customers can simply go to Make Your Book - Tailor-made Design to upload photos and fill in the Contact Us form. Every pre-designed background costs from HKD200 to HKD400.

How many photos can I put in one photobook?
No limit. With that said, it is much recommended to carry 60-80 photos, 2-3 per page on average in a 8"X8" 28 pages photobook. Customers can also freely add captions to the photobook.
